Upcoming Events

October is a month of celebrations and spirit days in our classroom!

Diwali
On Friday, October 28, we will be having a Diwali celebration in our classroom starting at 9:00am.  The children are welcome to dress up in their suits or other cultural clothing that they have.

Also, children are welcome to bring food to share with the class.  If you do send food, please make sure that it is nut-free.

Halloween
On Monday, October 31, we will be having our school-wide Halloween Parade.  The parade will start shortly after lunch and children may wear a Halloween costume.  Parents/Families are encouraged to take their child home for lunch on this day to help them get into their costumes.  Please do not send weapons or fake blood to school as this can be frightening for some children.

Parents/Family members are welcome to join us for the Halloween Parade in the gym at 1:00pm.

We will also be having a small Halloween celebration in our classroom in the afternoon.  Children are welcome to bring food to share with the class.  If you do send food, please make sure that it is nut-free.

*If your family does not celebrate Halloween or you do not want your child participating in our Halloween parade and class celebration, it is best to have your child stay home from school on Halloween.*

PJ Day

On Tuesday, November 1, 2016, our school will be having our PJ Spirit Day.  Children are welcome to wear their pajamas, house coats, slippers, etc. and bring a stuffy and blanket to school if they wish.
